Shilp Gravures Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Aug 2026

  1. Karnataka greenfield facility - The Board approved on 17 Aug 2026 a \~₹6.7 cr investment in plant, machinery and setup costs for a Karnataka facility that can produce over 18,000 gravure cylinders annually at full utilisation, with commencement expected during FY 2026-27. That adds roughly 19% to existing capacity of \~94,000 cylinders, funded entirely from internal accruals on a debt-free balance sheet.
  2. Change of control - Aikyam Sampati - Aikyam Sampati Management LLP completed an open offer at ₹213 per share for 26% of voting capital, following its agreement to acquire 60.67% of the company from retiring promoters. The new promoters bring 18+ years in flexible packaging and printing, with forward/backward integration synergies expected to accelerate growth.
  3. Solar power generation - Three solar plants with 2.42 MW installed capacity generate approximately 35,00,000 Kwh per year, with FY25 generation of 35.54 lakh Kwh worth ₹75.86 lakh. This offsets grid power costs directly, supporting the 14-15% operating margin while the gravure business absorbs new capacity.
  4. Wind power generation - Five windmills with 2.8 MW capacity generate approximately 36,50,000 Kwh annually, contributing ₹24.16 lakh in FY25. Combined with solar, captive power covers a meaningful share of energy needs, insulating margins from tariff hikes as the Karnataka plant ramps up.
