Supriya Lifescience Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report
as of Aug 2026
- Ambernath formulation facility - The finished dosage plant (₹140-160 cr capex) completed commissioning in Q4 FY26, with revenue expected from FY27 and EBITDA-positive around Q3 FY27. Management expects peak revenue of \~₹500 cr at "easily 2.5x of the capital value," at margins higher than API manufacturing - a second earnings leg roughly 60% of current revenue.
- DSM-Firmenich contract - The 10-year exclusive API supply agreement stabilized at \~3 tons/month, contributed ₹25-30 cr in FY26, with pharma validation completed and commercial volumes starting Q4 FY26. Peak revenue of ₹60-70 cr is expected in FY27 - roughly 8% of current revenue from a single locked-in customer.
- Cardiovascular advanced intermediate - Launched in Q3 FY26, capacity is \~1,000 tons with 300 tons under contract with three-four large users, expected to be nearly fully utilized in FY27. At commercialized scale with full backward integration, this adds a new revenue stream requiring no regulatory filings in Europe or US.
- CMO/CDMO pipeline - Beyond DSM, a large anesthetic CDMO contract is close to signing a term sheet with qualification work completed, and 2-3 other CMO/CDMO projects are in the pipeline. Management targets 30-35% growth in CDMO over the next 4-5 years, with \~20% of revenue expected from CMO/CDMO by FY26-27.
- Anesthetic portfolio expansion - Two new liquid inhalation anesthetic products launched from Ambernath in Q2 FY27, with CEP filing for anesthetic API expected between October-November FY27 to boost regulated market sales. Anesthetics already contribute 48% of Q1 FY27 revenue, and the new launches extend a portfolio with no Indian competitor and no price war.
- ADHD product scale-up - The ADHD product launched in Q3 FY26 is scaling up with strong demand from LATAM and Europe, with two more ADHD launches planned in FY27. The launched product has a larger US market ahead, and the category adds a second high-growth therapy to the portfolio.
- Patalganga greenfield facility - Construction started on the 80,000 sq.mt. site with \~₹200 cr Phase-1 capex for two API and two formulation blocks, funded partly by \~₹150 cr in cash reserves. Phase-1 completion of \~40% is expected in \~2.5 years, with the API block first as Lote capacity nears exhaustion - this is the capacity runway for launches beyond FY29.
- Backward integration - Backward integration reached 76% of FY26 revenue, with 20 products integrated and 3 more in process. Management expects this to rise to 80-82% "pretty quick" as new product launches complete - each step protects gross margin from raw material price swings.
- Contrast media launch - Products are on track for launch in H2 FY27, with a process more cost-efficient than the current market route. This is a large molecule with a growing market and space for only 2-3 large companies - a new therapy area with existing regulated-market customers.
- Lote capacity expansion - Module E (335 KLPD) commissioned in 2025 raised capacity to 932 KLPD, and Block F (150-200 KL, ₹40-50 cr capex) is planned over the next 2 years. With utilization at 70% in Q1 FY27, the new block plus debottlenecking adds headroom for the 3-4 annual product launches.
