Suvidhaa Infoserve is India’s self-described “first original FinTech” - a company that turns neighbourhood mom-and-pop stores into digital one-stop shops so their walk-in customers can pay bills, book tickets, buy insurance, or send money without ever visiting a bank branch or a website. Born in 2007 and reshaped by a 2020 demerger that brought marketplace technology from Infibeam Avenues and NSI Infinium Global under its roof, it now operates a single proprietary platform that connects over 300 service providers to a nationwide network of small retailers. The recurring idea is always the same: give a kirana store the tools to sell financial and retail products, and the store becomes the neighbourhood’s digital gateway - bringing formal services to the unbanked while driving footfall and extra income for the retailer.
Business segments
A single engine powering the entire business - a marketplace technology platform that lets small retail outlets sell financial services and consumer products to their walk-in customers, earning commissions on every transaction.
1. S-Commerce® marketplace: the platform that turns kirana stores into digital hubs
The company earns a fee every time a neighbourhood retailer uses its platform to sell a train ticket, recharge a phone, collect an insurance premium, or process a domestic remittance for a customer who walks into the shop.
- One platform, two sides - Suvidhaa’s proprietary S-Commerce® system integrates with more than 300 service providers on one side and a widespread franchisee network of small retail outlets on the other, so a single sign-up gives a store access to a full catalogue of financial and retail products.
- The store is the point of sale - small mom-and-pop outlets use the platform to offer utility bill payment, mobile and DTH recharges, rail, air and bus ticketing, insurance premium collection, domestic remittance, and an expanding range of lifestyle and household products, which brings new customers through the door and gives existing ones a reason to return more often.
- Commission is the revenue engine - the company makes money through commissions recognised when a service is rendered, plus one-time activation fees charged to distributors and retailers when their accounts are set up; it also sells e-vouchers, booking revenue when ownership transfers to the buyer.
- Omni-channel by design - the platform works across mobile apps, web interfaces, and in-store POS machines, which has proven critical for reaching retailers and consumers in Tier-II and Tier-III cities where smartphone-only approaches often fail.
- Technology as the backbone - the system relies on advanced encryption and authentication licensed from third parties to secure transactions across credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and emerging payment modes, while the company invests in AI-driven tools to sharpen customer insights and product recommendations.
2. Loyalty, rewards and CRM: the retention engine inside the platform
Through its wholly owned subsidiary Nupi Infotech, Suvidhaa builds customisable loyalty programmes and CRM tools that help brands turn one-time buyers into repeat customers - and those tools are embedded directly into the same retailer platform.
- Loyalty as a service - the company offers fully customisable rewards programmes with multi-language support and a wide product catalogue, so a brand can design a scheme that matches its identity while Suvidhaa handles the technology and fulfilment.
- Unified customer view - Nupi’s platform operates as a Customer Data Platform, pulling together information from websites, mobile apps, and in-store POS machines into a single profile, which lets businesses run personalised engagement campaigns across every touchpoint.
- Built for retail growth - the modular CRM suite includes customisable rule engines and advanced analytics, giving retail and distribution businesses the insights to make strategic decisions about which customers to target and how.
- Embedded, not separate - because the loyalty and CRM capabilities sit inside the same ecosystem as the core marketplace, a retailer using Suvidhaa’s platform can run repeat-purchase incentives for its own walk-in customers without needing a separate technology provider.
Group structure and partners
The company operates through a lean parent entity and three subsidiaries, the most important of which is the wholly owned fintech arm Nupi Infotech - the vehicle through which loyalty, CRM, and payment technology solutions are built and delivered.
- Suvidhaa Infoserve Limited is the listed parent, headquartered in Gift City, Gandhinagar, with a corporate office in Mumbai and just 17 employees as of March 2025.
- Nupi Infotech Limited, incorporated in March 2022, is a wholly owned material subsidiary that owns and operates the loyalty, rewards, and CRM technology platform; it was formed with the same vision as the parent - to give every household access to digital services through neighbourhood touchpoints.
- NSI Infinium Global Limited is a 90%-owned subsidiary, but Suvidhaa does not exercise management control over it; its e-commerce undertaking was demerged into Suvidhaa under the 2020 NCLT-approved scheme that created the current group structure.
- Sine Qua Non Solutions Private Limited is a step-down subsidiary, and the company also holds a small equity investment in Adzillow Private Limited.
- The group was formed through a Composite Scheme of Arrangement sanctioned in November 2020, which transferred the SME e-commerce undertaking of Infibeam Avenues and the e-commerce undertaking of NSI Infinium Global into Suvidhaa, more than doubling its paid-up share capital in the process.
