- IPO debt reduction: The company is using the ₹150 crore fresh issue proceeds from its ₹1,757 crore IPO to pare down its outstanding debt from approximately ₹380 crore to roughly ₹230 crore.
- New growth engines: After deploying over ₹850 crore in capex into complex injectables and fermentation CDMO, management expects these two new segments to eventually match the scale of its core steroid and hormone API business.
- Supply chain integration: Symbiotec is fully backward integrated starting from soybean-derived phytosterol, which provides zero operational dependency on external suppliers or China while maintaining make-versus-buy flexibility.
- Return ratio outlook: Consolidated return metrics are currently suppressed due to unmonetized capex, but adjusted ROCE on the base API business stands at roughly 30% and overall returns are expected to expand significantly as new assets begin generating revenue.
