- Mundra resolution and profit: Full-year profit reached a record ₹5,118 crore despite an ₹1,100 crore loss from the Mundra plant, which operated for only three months. The Mundra dispute has now been settled with a full pass-through of coal costs, with the full financial benefits expected in FY27.
- Renewable capacity additions: Tata Power is setting up 2,500 MW of utility-scale renewable projects (1,500 MW wind and 1,000 MW solar), with about 600 to 700 MW to be added each quarter. In the past year, renewable PAT grew by roughly 60%, cell and module manufacturing profit doubled, and rooftop solar profit rose 2.5 times.
- Odisha Discom turnaround: Operations across Odisha Discoms have improved through higher billing and collection efficiencies alongside reduced electricity theft, bringing AT&C losses down to below 10%.
- Data center power solutions: Management views AI and data center expansion as a major growth opportunity for providing round-the-clock clean power. The company is offering integrated solutions combining solar, wind, battery storage, and pumped hydro to deliver 8 to 10 hours of firm power alongside specialized energy management services.
