- Financial Growth Outlook: Performance is expected to improve from Q2 and accelerate in H2 following a 17% revenue degrowth in Q1. Under its Vision 2030 roadmap, the company targets more than doubling top-line revenue while achieving EBITDA margins in the mid-teens or higher.
- Defense Business Target: With an initial internal investment of around ₹200 crore into niche modern warfare segments, Texmaco projects defense revenue to reach ₹2,500 to ₹3,000 crore with margins above mid-teens over the next 2 to 3 years.
- Order Book Execution: The total order book stands at approximately ₹11,500 crore across rolling stock, locomotives, and infrastructure. Between 20% and 30% of this total is executable within the current financial year, with the remaining balance spreading over subsequent years up to early 2029.
- Customer Mix Diversification: To de-risk revenue cyclicality, private and export contracts currently account for about 70% of wagon orders versus 30% from Indian Railways, targeting a sustainable long-term mix of 35% to 40% railway orders and the remainder from private clients, exports, and maintenance.
