TVS Srichakra Ltd Growth Catalysts - SOIC x StockScans Report

as of Jul 2026

  1. Madurai OHT capacity expansion - The board approved ₹110 crore to add \~25% capacity at the Madurai Off-Highway Tyre plant, with the addition expected in H1 FY28. OHT is the highest-margin segment in the manufacturing portfolio, with PBIT margin already at 12.8% and rising, so incremental volume drops through at an outsized contribution.
  2. Rudrapur 2/3-wheeler capacity expansion - The board approved ₹210 crore to add 40-45% capacity at the Rudrapur Unit-2, targeted for H1 FY28. This removes the main volume bottleneck in the core 2/3-wheeler business, where utilisation is already at 80-85% on the existing 92-95 lakh tyre base.
  3. Super Grip North & Latin America platform - The acquired US-based Super Grip business is projected to grow revenue at a 25% CAGR over five years, with no impairment indicated as of March 2025. A 99-year global brand licence signed in August 2025 and the assumption of an existing Bristol Motor Speedway sponsorship in April 2026 signal management is building, not just buying, the Americas OHT franchise.
  4. EV two-wheeler OEM supply qualification - The company has been assessed and cleared for supplies by a vast majority of electric two-wheeler OEMs and has emerged as a major supplier to the segment. As EV adoption scales, being designed-in at the OEM level creates a replacement-cycle tailwind that compounds with the parc.
  5. Two-wheeler premiumisation pipeline - R&D delivered 96 new 2W products in FY25, including over 30 in higher-CC sport-touring, and the Bee Sport range is scheduled to reach retailers in H2 2026. Premium tyres carry higher realisations and margins, and the Milan design centre supports a product cadence that keeps the brand relevant in export markets.
  6. Renewable energy cost structure - Renewable power at the Madurai plant reached 80% of consumption in FY25, and the company is targeting close to 100% green electricity. A fixed-cost renewable base insulates the P&L from grid-power inflation as capacity expands, directly protecting the margin on every additional tyre produced.
