- Advances growth: Advances grew 24.7%, exceeding guidance, with growth across Retail, Agri, MSME and Corporate. Management attributed this to customer outreach and new products, backed by stronger underwriting and credit monitoring, and said it saw no growth-related risk.
- NIM outlook: NIM is around 3%, above the 2.8% to 2.9% guidance. Although deposit costs rose, management expects to meet its guidance over the next two quarters and for the full financial year, and rejected the suggestion that compression should be assumed.
- Slippage outlook: Quarterly slippages were ₹549 crore versus ₹444 crore in the previous quarter and ₹629 crore in the September 25 comparison cited; management said they were down ₹80 crore year-on-year. Slippages are 0.85% against guidance to keep them below 1%, with no sector-specific stress seen.
- Funding and liquidity: Deposits grew around 14%, and management expects to exceed its 10% to 12% guidance; the CD ratio reached 82%. Against a $500 million target, FCNR and OFCB mobilization exceeded $700 million, with borrowings, refinancing, bonds and overseas branches also available; the CRR change to 99% was said to have no significant impact.
- Profitability outlook: Net NPA is 0.18%, with 90% of NPA provisioning already completed. Management expects advances and NII growth to support profitability, and aims to move ROA from 0.80% toward 1% next year.
