- Asset quality improvement: Gross and net NPAs improved alongside lower slippages across businesses, with Special Mention Account (SMA) balances decreasing by nearly Rs 900–950 crore to around 2,800 accounts in the June quarter.
- MSME portfolio health: Asset quality in the MSME segment showed reduced stress, supported by proactive outreach across 140 regional offices and disbursals of nearly Rs 10,000 crore against Rs 12,000 crore sanctioned under ECLGS.
- Net interest margin: NIM rose 16 bps quarter-on-quarter to 2.80%, driven by replacing low-yielding IBPC loans with higher-return assets and cutting high-cost bulk deposits by about Rs 70,000 crore to lower their share from over 27% to around 19%.
- Deposit and credit outlook: The bank saw average quarterly growth of Rs 24,000 crore in CASA and Rs 17,000 crore in retail term deposits, while targeting credit growth of around 1% above the industry average and capping its CD ratio at approximately 85–86%.
