DRC Systems India is an IT services firm that builds custom software and runs digital transformation projects for clients across the world - essentially, a hired team of developers, project managers and strategists who take a business problem and turn it into working code. It was founded in 2012 and gained its current shape in late 2020 when a court-approved restructuring moved a software undertaking from Infibeam Avenues into DRC, after which DRC’s shares listed on the BSE and NSE in March 2021. The recurring approach is to combine organic hiring with targeted acquisitions and partnerships, steadily adding new technology skills and geographic reach while keeping the core model the same: consulting-led, AI-assisted software delivery for a global roster of mid-sized and large clients.
Business segments
A single engine - IT services and digital solutions - delivered globally across six industry verticals, with a growing network of subsidiaries and associates that extend its geographic and technological reach.
1. IT services and digital solutions: the company’s only business
DRC writes, maintains and modernises software for clients around the world, earning revenue project by project from a spread of industries so that no single sector calls the shots.
- Full-lifecycle software delivery - the company handles everything from discovery and design through coding, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance, covering web and mobile apps, e-commerce storefronts, content management systems and e-learning platforms. That means a client can hand over a rough requirement and get a finished, hosted product without having to stitch together multiple vendors.
- Four service lines under one roof - the work is organised into Digital Experience (websites, mobile apps, QA testing), Cloud and DevOps (cloud migration and infrastructure management), Digital Transformation (application modernisation, ERP, process automation) and Emerging Technologies (AI, machine learning, blockchain, chatbots). This lets the company cross-sell: a client that came for a website rebuild might stay for cloud migration or an AI-powered chatbot.
- A broad technology stack reduces “no” answers - the company’s engineers work across frontend frameworks like React and Angular, backend languages including Java, Python and.Net, databases from MySQL to MongoDB, and platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Because the toolkit is wide, DRC can take on projects in many flavours without turning clients away for lack of the right technical fit.
- Global client base, six verticals - customers are spread across Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Australia and India, and concentrated in six industries: Retail, Healthcare, Education, Public Sector, Manufacturing and BFSI. The geographic and sector spread means a slowdown in one region or industry does not freeze the whole business.
- People-first delivery with a subcontractor safety valve - as of March 2025 the company had 216 employees, roughly a fifth of them women, and it hires fresh graduates from Indian campuses alongside experienced architects and project leads. When it cannot staff a new project fast enough in-house, it uses subcontractors to start the work immediately, then gradually replaces them with permanent hires to protect margins.
Group structure and partners
A web of wholly owned subsidiaries, an associate and a joint venture extends DRC’s sales reach into the Middle East and North America, while a recent acquisition-turned-associate adds technical depth.
- Dubai subsidiary opens the Middle East - DRC Systems EMEA LLC-FZ, incorporated in Dubai and wholly owned, sells IT services including cloud, analytics, ERP and AI to small and medium enterprises in online retail, education, hospitality and tourism across the region. Its turnover has grown each year, and in January 2026 the board approved up to USD 1 million in further investment without diluting DRC’s 100% holding.
- US subsidiary plants a flag in North America - DRC Systems USA LLC, a wholly owned unit in Delaware incorporated for a cost not exceeding USD 100, builds custom software and mobile apps for the American market and began generating sales immediately after it was set up in 2023.
- A joint venture for government and large-corporate deals - DRC Systems EMEA LLC-FZ, the Dubai subsidiary, entered into a Joint Venture Agreement on July 24, 2023 with UAE-based partner EZMS LLC FZ to form a joint venture company, offering a Low-Code No-Code platform as a service.
- Inexture adds Python and Java muscle - in August 2025 DRC acquired a 50.02% stake in Inexture Solutions, an Ahmedabad-based IT services firm with expertise in Python, Java, FullStack and Liferay, to strengthen its technology capabilities and help push into the US, Belgium and Australia. The stake later dipped to 49.18% after Inexture issued more shares, so it is now an associate rather than a subsidiary.
- Earlier investments show the pattern - DRC has previously taken a 23.34% stake in Nextenders, an e-procurement software firm with public-sector clients across India, Africa and the Philippines that had processed over 625,000 transactions worth more than USD 15 billion, and a 2.3% stake in Netherlands-based AutoDAP, both reflecting the same buy-or-partner-to-expand playbook.
