Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd. (REPL) is fundamentally a consultancy firm that plans, designs, and oversees the building of India’s public infrastructure - from smart cities and water systems to affordable housing and metro rail - acting as the technical brain behind large government missions. Founded in 1992 during India’s economic opening and listed on the NSE in 2020, it has spent over three decades embedding itself in the country’s nation-building programmes, navigating every major economic shock along the way. Its recurring approach is to enter flagship government schemes early - Smart City Mission, PMAY, Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT - and then provide the full chain of services those schemes demand, from feasibility studies and detailed design through to on-site project management and handover, which locks in multi-year assignments and creates a diversified order book.
Business segments
Three engines at different stages - a core government-consultancy backbone, a technology subsidiary that digitises the same client base, and an early-stage real-estate trust licence held in reserve - each extending the company’s reach into adjacent revenue pools.
1. Integrated urban development and infrastructure consultancy: the government’s technical partner
REPL earns fees by providing end-to-end advisory, design, and project management services for large-scale public infrastructure programmes, with roughly 90% of its work coming from government clients.
- Full lifecycle, one provider - the company takes a project from viability analysis and feasibility studies through detailed design, project management consultancy (PMC), and final handover, which means it can stay on a single government scheme for years and bill at every stage.
- Early entry into flagship missions - REPL was involved in the Smart City Mission from its initial stage, designing the plan for Bhopal that was selected in the first 20 cities, and has since worked on smart cities including Varanasi, Indore, Kanpur, and Dehradun, covering integrated command centres, intelligent traffic systems, and ICT solutions.
- Water infrastructure at scale - the company prepares Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and provides PMC and third-party inspection for water supply and sewerage schemes across multiple states, including 20 urban local bodies in Madhya Pradesh under AMRUT 2.0, 17 districts in Chhattisgarh, and over 1,800 schemes in Jammu under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
- Stalled-project specialist - REPL has carved out a niche in reviving stuck real estate projects, appointed by UP-RERA and the Supreme Court-backed UNITECH board to complete thousands of pending housing units, with the consultancy opportunity in this market estimated at roughly 2% of the total project value.
- Built on empanelments, not pitches - with 25-plus empanelments across government agencies and PSUs, and a team of over 200 sector experts covering architecture, GIS, engineering, and project management, the company competes on technical qualification rather than cold tenders for every assignment.
2. Technology solutions and digital services (RIPL): digitising the built environment
The wholly owned subsidiary Rudrabhishek Infosystem Pvt. Ltd. (RIPL) sells software, BIM modelling, and cloud ERP to the same architecture and construction industry that the parent company serves, turning internal capability into a standalone revenue stream.
- BIM as a service - RIPL builds detailed 3D-to-6D digital models of buildings and infrastructure before they are constructed, with projects including 126 stations for Chennai Metro Rail Phase II, a 1.1-million-square-foot high court using LiDAR scan-to-BIM, and university campuses covering over 8.5 lakh square feet.
- Exclusive distribution rights - the subsidiary is the sole Indian partner for several global design-software brands, including ARCHICAD from Graphisoft (Hungary), BricsCAD from Bricsys (Belgium), and CGS Labs for road and railway engineering software, earning margins on resale and implementation.
- Cloud ERP for small construction firms - RIPL launched FusionHub, an AI-enabled ERP built specifically for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, and will share 50% of the overall revenue from its business, targeting SMEs that need inexpensive, low-maintenance project and finance management tools.
- Data monetisation in progress - the company is developing an AI-enabled business intelligence platform that will package insights from three decades of project data, with plans to license the analytics software to other firms in the sector as a parallel revenue line.
3. SM REIT asset management (ImpactR): a licence for fractional real estate
REPL secured one of India’s first investment-manager licences under the new SM REIT regulations, positioning it to pool investor capital into income-generating commercial property - though the initiative is on hold pending market stability.
- Second-mover advantage in a new regulated market - SEBI formalised the Small and Medium Real Estate Investment Trust framework in March 2024, and REPL became only the second company to receive an investment-manager licence, giving it early access to a market estimated at over ₹4.98 lakh crore by 2026.
- Asset pipeline identified - the ImpactR platform has mapped a pipeline of roughly 1.6 million square feet of office space, 1.4 million square feet of retail malls, and 49,500 square feet of hotel space, with plans to expand into warehousing, hospitals, and industrial assets.
- Consultancy DNA feeds the trust - the business model relies on REPL’s existing skill in identifying stable real estate assets, structuring them into compliant vehicles, and managing tenancy and maintenance, which are extensions of its core PMC work rather than a departure from it.
- On hold, not abandoned - SM-REIT activity was put on hold in Q4 FY26 because volatile capital markets and geopolitical uncertainty made investors reluctant to commit to new ventures, but the licence and pipeline remain intact.
Group structure and partners
REPL operates through a listed parent and four subsidiaries, each carved out for a distinct client segment or technical specialism, with the promoter holding a majority stake.
- The promoter group owns 68.64% of REPL, with founder Mr. Pradeep Misra personally holding 55.77%, giving him effective control of the listed entity.
- Rudrabhishek Infosystem Pvt. Ltd. (RIPL) is the 100%-owned technology subsidiary, acquired in 2012, which runs the BIM, ERP, and software-distribution businesses.
- Rudrabhishek Techno Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (RTCPL) is a 100%-owned subsidiary formed to serve government and PSU clients with a customised approach separate from the parent.
- Rudrabhishek Geo Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (RGEPL) is a 51%-owned subsidiary incorporated in November 2023 through a partnership with GEO Engineering Company of Bengaluru, focusing on high-barrier geotechnical work such as pile foundations and specialised drilling for solar, metro, and bridge projects.
- GEM Ecomind Ltd. is a joint venture formed in February 2026, with RIPL holding 49% and GEM Enviro Management holding 51%, to offer AI-and-blockchain-based sustainability platforms for plastic-waste traceability and ESG compliance reporting.
- Strategic empanelments with Hitachi (for solar integration), Survey of India (for geospatial services), and Odisha Bridge & Construction Corporation (for construction supervision) extend REPL’s reach without requiring equity commitments.
